Our Pink Cake is Back 🩷
Four years ago, we started a tradition that became very close to my heart. This October, as our Pink Cake returns for its fourth year, this cause feels more personal than ever.
I am grateful to be celebrating four years in remission from breast cancer. But cancer continues to be part of my family’s story. Last year, my mom was diagnosed with terminal cancer and, thankfully, she is still here with us. That same year, my sister Juanita was diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer and continues her treatment in Peru.
Their journeys, together with my own, are a big part of why I feel so strongly about continuing to help other women facing breast cancer.
This October, 100% of the proceeds from every Pink Cake sold will be donated to The Rose, a Houston nonprofit providing breast health services and access to care for women in our community, regardless of their ability to pay.
Our Pink Cake is more than a dessert. It is our way of turning something sweet into something meaningful and giving back to the community that has supported us for so many years.
This one is for my mom, my sister Juanita, and every woman walking this journey. 🩷
